The spectacular Serra de Tramuntana
From the moment you arrive, the outside world seems to fade away. Winding roads lead through dramatic mountain scenery before revealing a beautifully restored finca nestled within lush gardens. Surrounded by ancient olive trees, fragrant herbs and panoramic views stretching across the valley, the setting immediately invites you to slow down and embrace Mallorca’s quieter side.
Traditional Mallorcan architecture blends effortlessly with contemporary design
Arriving at Hotel Corazon feels like stepping inside the private retreat of passionate collectors, artists and travellers who have spent years curating every object with intention. The property was imagined by photographer Kate Bellm and artist Edgar Lopez, as a place where creativity could flourish naturally, welcoming guests looking for inspiration as much as relaxation.
Original stone walls, handmade ceramics, natural woods and soft linen fabrics create interiors that feel warm, organic and timeless. Rather than following trends, every space reflects an understated elegance rooted in local craftsmanship and authentic materials.
Artworks, photography, books and handcrafted objects can be discovered across the property, while the hotel regularly collaborates with artists and makers who share its philosophy of thoughtful, sustainable living.
Each room has been individually designed, making every stay feel unique. Soft neutral tones, textured walls, vintage furniture and carefully chosen decorative pieces create an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and incredibly calming.
Large windows frame the surrounding mountains while natural light floods every corner throughout the day. Nothing feels excessive or overdesigned. Instead, comfort comes through simplicity, generous spaces and an effortless connection with nature.
The gardens are an essential part of the experience. Olive trees, citrus fruits, lavender, rosemary and native plants create an environment that constantly changes with the seasons.
Food was also amazing at Corazón. The restaurant embraces a seasonal approach, celebrating fresh local ingredients from Mallorca.
Many herbs, fruits and vegetables are grown within the property’s own gardens before finding their way onto the menu, while local producers supply fresh seafood, cheeses and artisan products from across the island.
The cuisine is Mediterranean : simple, fresh, colourful. Expect vibrant seasonal vegetables, freshly baked bread, carefully prepared fish, and dishes designed to be shared around the table.
Breakfast is equally memorable, with homemade pastries, fresh fruit, local honey and excellent coffee enjoyed against one of the most beautiful backdrops on the island.
